That said – don’t get wrapped up in all the hype, here is my .02 for the stats – for what it’s worth.  

Post as often as you need to keep the engagement engine cruising along – measure when your user activity falls off from your account; this is the trigger for you to post again.  Too many or too few postings create a difficult demand-burden to keep the machine running smoothly.  

Forget all the influence and game crap; focus on producing informative postings that your target audience will read – and come to the realization that 600 engaging followers it better than 6000 crash-test-dummies.  

Focus on the big picture…

In the end, multi-channel internet marketing is quite a delicate balance between 

  • Readability
  • Creativity
  • Technical SEO
  • Phraseology
  • Timing

And when the marketing engine is chugging along nicely; you’ll put less in the tank and travel farther down the road for it.
