Shift+Enter to add paragraphs to Facebook Comments?

Did you notice something different with adding comments on Facebook today?

Facebook now requires you to depress the Shift key while hitting the Enter key to add a paragraph to comments.

    Actually, this new behaviour annoyed me so much that I wrote a quick Chrome UserScript to undo it..

  2. Until everyone figures it out and changes their behavior, this new feature is going to cause some embarrassing moments for those who are accustomed to writing a post, rereading it, tweaking it, and THEN posting it!

    I wonder how many people posted something they wish they hadn’t? (I read Facebook notifications in my email, so I see every stage of a comment from the original to the rewritten!) I’m glad our daughter alerted me to this new feature late last night after it happened to her. ;o)
